For the second release on his new Ripatti imprint, Vladislav Delay teams up with fellow Fin Max Loderbauer as duo Heisenburg, producing two takes of unrelenting and freakish techno mutations. The A-side’s measured percussion stomp is shrouded in layers of analogue fuzz and scree which spiral off into distant spaces before being inexorably pulled back to the unrelenting rhythmic core. The duo really let loose on the B-side though, with a battering, frenetic number which recalls a hyperactive Drexciya in its incessant snare snaps, with an added sub depth that is often absent from such productions.
