After releasing 2010's 'Glass Eights' and editing a travel magazine for three years, John Roberts is back with a sophomore record of his unique brand of house music. The rulebook has been ripped up into even smaller pieces this time, with spooky, xylophone-like noises and string chords on the rattling 'Palace', manipulated Commodore Amiga synths and operatic piano on 'Blanket', and warbling water and strings on 'Braids'. Roberts is a producer who refuses to be pigeonholed.
