Jabu follows up their beloved 2020 LP Sweet Company with a comprehensive demos package entitled Boiling Wells (Demos ‘19 - ‘22). Recorded on holiday in the country with a limited slate of instruments and machines, Boiling Wells is naturally the sound of Jabu investing in their latent musicality and emphasising their instrumental interplay over studio wizardry. Simultaneously dreamier and more rigid than prior material, this work points towards many different avenues Jabu can take when they reconvene for their next proper project. Originally issued as a digital-only curio, Six of Swords brings this collection to wax for an essential short run.
