Jabu – formed of Alex Rendall and Amos Childs, one half of Punch Drunk and the duo Zhou – present their Astro:Dynamics debut, a beat-less piece of wraithlike ambience formed around loop-based mininatures and brooding vocal-led drone. It’s no surprise that the pair are part of the Young Echo collective, which also includes Vessel and Kahn, as their productions share a smilar kind of delicateness amidst all the crackle and hiss.

This self-titled EP operates beatless, loop-based miniatures, evoking the subtle evolving, emotive work of William Bassinski; less austere, using playful tones and droning vocal moods.
