Indonesia’s ancient Gamelan music is given a once-in-a-lifetime treatment from Daniel Menche as part of a thoroughly captivating exploration for ‘Marriage of Metals’. Menche was granted access to a Gamelan studio at Lewis and Clark College in Portland Oregon to record the rare and ancient gongs that are a vital element in the music.
