Clint Mansell throws electric signals towards interference, transported through eerie atmospheres while emotional passages are woven in between. The tension in ‘Welcome To Lunar Industries’ snaps into action, epic yet minor key notes lurking in the propulsive piano motif. The sci fi staple of synth pulses evolve over strings and glassy, elongated tones on ‘I’m Sam Bell, Too...’, contrasting with the explosivity of ‘Sacrifice’ where dramatic drums and feverish guitars narrate plans set into motion at the final hour.
