Larry Heard’s own Alleviated Records brings back two rarities from the Chicago legend’s beloved 2007 LP Love’s Arrival era for this special reissue of the Another Night Re-Edit 12”. The A side features Moodymann (under his J.A.N. alias) taking ‘Another Night’ to sultry and smooth new heights while the B side’s ‘Time Machine’ is Heard at his very best, all space synth stabs and rolling yet buoyant basslines. It’s a small wonder it didn’t make the initial cut.
