Scott Morgan returns to his Loscil project for his sixth full length album, out on his main-stay label Kranky. A continuation of the dialogues and sound experiments he has embarked on on previous Kranky outings, ‘Sketches From New Brighton’ etches delicate lines through sweeping dub techno landscapes pulled adrift with organic arrangements and a refined understanding of the subtle nuance of sound construction. A serene and undeniably beautiful piece of work.
