FatCat Records reveal the second part of their Hauschka remix edition, handing over tracks from ‘Salon Des Amateurs’ over to UK techno veteran Steve Bicknell, and Rene Lowe of Scion and Chain Reaction fame under his Vainquer guise. Bicknell adapts ‘Tanzbein’ into a submerged techno predator, taking Hauschka’s original elements and near obliterating their presence. Lowe meanwhile takes the opposite route with a muted piece of dub-techno glistening with melodious elegance.
