UK producer Truss links with Our Circula Sound for another offbeat techno transmission. At just under three minutes, drum-less minimal exploration ‘Clytha’ manages to confound and stir up fond memories of old Starfish Pool and Atom Mother LPs. ‘Beacon’ is a bit more forceful, assailing the listener with rock hard drum work, undulating low-end and bubbling synths. Berliner Tommy Four Seven stops to muck in with the title track, adding militaristic percussion and distorted bass, and Svreca tacks on an industrial-flavoured rework of ‘Auden’, originally on the Splot EP.
