The first single to come from Jimmy Edgar’s recent sleazed-up album, ‘Majenta’, ‘Let Yrself Be’ is less of the sexed-up boogie funk that Edgar does so well, and instead an uptempo, rhythmic house number punctuated with sliced-up vocals (not belonging to Edgar himself this time) and restless stabs.
