‘String Theory’ sets October out as a talent to keep your eye on. With a natural skill for musicality and warmth, whether he’s making summertime poolside jams (‘String Theory), or fierce and direct basement groovers (Tension Point), he’s seemingly at home and can pull off some oddball syncopation with aplomb. Things get even better as Danny Wolfers supplies not one, but two reworking under both his Legowelt and Polarius guises respectively.
