The steely, Detroit style techno of San Proper gets a full Villalobos reduction for Rush Hour. Clearly the recent ECM remix project has had a lasting effect on the Chilean producer - both of his remixes draw from more abstract audio sources, less from the original and jazzy snare licks flutter over loose sythns and reversed vocal. Accessible and Villalobos revealing another interesting production side.
