Sully's long-awaited first full length is here and it's a sublime venture into a gritty late-night cave of many sounds and influences. Initially we're led through tough 2-step and garage rhythms on opening tracks '2 Hearts' and 'It's Your Love', punctuated with soft feminine vocals evocative of the 90s era. However as the album progresses, Sully nods to UK grime on tracks such as the chilling 'Scram' and looks to more contemporary pastures, incorporating influences from the UK bass scene and Chicago juke but still as ever adorned with those supple vocal snippets. Definitely one to check.
