A diverse selection of tracks from Russian producer Pixielord, who takes us on a journey through the high-pitched vocal snippets of title-track 'Iron and Cream' to the dizzy heights of 'Cycloferon' - which seems to take inspiration from Scottish beat-master, Rustie, and his heavily arpeggiated chords, thrown in to a computer-game nightmare world of wobbling subs and garish beats. Thankfully, 'In the Mine' takes things down several notches to a 2-step vibe and that post-party 8am zone of come-down emotion, sparsely decorated with diva-esque vocals.
