Baroque, vapourous chamber-music from Coil/Current 93 alumni, Ossian Brown and Stephen Thrower, exuding an ethereal, decaying grandeur from the use of ancient, arcane modes and modern synthesis. 'Wounded Galaxies...' flickers into earshot by the opening, cosmic churn of 'How Acla Disappeared From Earth' to the haunting, pagan opus of 'The Woods Are Alive with the Smell of His Coming' and the disturbing, yet rousing, 'Sleeper'. A vivid and highly fulfilling experience from start to finish.
