Like the name or not, Ross from Friends has been steadily making your local dance floor tremble with his new school house grooves since last year’s self-released Alex Brown 12”. Following it up with this three track for Lobster Theremin sublabel Distant Hawaii, the producer excels himself and offers sample-heavy, loosely arranged disjointed house jams which will appeal to anyone who has been keeping an eye on the LT camp over the past few years. R&B flavoured ‘Bootman’ takes a while to get going but is as smooth as can be whilst still retaining a dance friendly appeal.
