Ross From Friends and John Cage, together at last! Just joking - alas, as that is a collaboration that many of us would be keen to hear. Anyway, lo-fi house heavyweight RFF has come through with another chill jam here. ‘John Cage’ is more detailed and polished than the cuts from his 2017 EP The Outsiders. With the full edition kicking off with a spoken-word passage and the edit coasting in on breezy synths, both versions of the track go on to catch the vibe of ‘Being Boring’ by the Pet Shop Boys, albeit with more of a 90s r ‘n’ b/chillwave edge.
