Powerhouse of modern techno Blawan returns with an especially no-nonsense approach to hard and heavy hitters. Having traded some of the granular detail of 2020’s Immulsion EP for direct-to-the-heart beat propulsions, Make A Goose proves to be yet another excellent example of the producer’s multifaceted talent. ‘My Guide To Dancing On Carpet’ rolls out a neat 4/4 loop across eerily metallic interjections, as ‘Spooky Fingers’ condenses unholy noises alongside a robotic melody lead. The title track sets itself apart here, coming off as an acid cut plunged to bitcrushing depths.
