Animal Bulldozer just about sums up this EP from Toronto producer E-Saggila, offering up a rare commodity within industrial techno; music that is ominously mechanistic, yet implacably organic. A grizzled bass-snare propels both ‘Spectator’ and ‘Genesis Factory’ like muscular beast legs carrying their delicate, twinkling leads. The sonic imprint carries over towards the complex DnB machinations of ‘Anima Bulldozer’, a dense track of bass restlessness that never betrays its intricate production.
