The dream-like qualities of this LP emerge from the collaborative percussion of Khadim Mbaye and Tons Sambe, on the saba and tama drums respectively; elegant pads, winding arpeggiation and a serpentine clarinet adorn themselves atop clattering drum patterns and pitched percussion, recalling Jon Hassell at his most minimal.
