Left-field electronica innovators object blue and TSVI share some heavy and inventive tracks via Nervous Horizon. Although, ‘electronica’ doesn’t quite cover the unearthly see-sawing of Hyperaesthesia. ‘Thought Experiment’ heads up the disc with a sputtering Geiger counter rhythm and a slowly manifesting techno shuffle, punctured by synthesised stabs and a vibe caught between mellowness and sheer peril. Loraine James remixes the track to further discombobulating bitrates and chasmic drops. Meanwhile, ‘Turing Machine’ sees the producer duo measure out a metallic beat beset by restless kicks, handclaps and a lead bled out from a classic acid track.
