Guitar, drums and voice. These few ingredients are all that the London duo DOLLS need in order to craft peppy pieces of grunge-pop. The Eggshells EP, the second DOLLS release to emerge via Death Waltz Originals, will slot in nicely to record collections alongside albums by the likes of Trust Fund. The chunky overdriven guitars that are frequently deployed across Eggshells come softened up by some sonorous vocal harmonies and the pair’s knack for a hook.
