Multidisciplinary artist and one half of Lakker Dara Smith aka Arad lands on Voitax with a moody, genre-bending EP larger than the sum of its parts. Radiance Haze sits far left of left field electronic music, mastering a smattering of sub-genres along the way to create something truly unique. ‘Barometric Shuffle’ comes off as a sharp techno number haunted by Smith’s searching spoken word, while ‘Barn Gate’ and ‘Squidger’ indulge in upbeat and slightly sinister jungle adjacency.
