Long-time electronic music fans may already be aware of Atonal. The producer’s track ‘Cithare’ emerged on Metatone’s An Essential Item Of 21st Century Life compilation back in 1994, but a promised solo release on the label never materialised. Now, all these years later, ‘Cithare’ is now paired with a selection of those previously-unheard Atonal productions for this new Cold Blow Records drop. The Cithare EP is a lovely collection of golden-age IDM and ambient techno.
