Proggy, Italo-indebted tech-house from Steve Moore here. ‘Gamma Quadrant’ and Frame Dragging’s title-track are the big-hitters on this EP. Both tunes spiral out across several minutes - ‘Gamma Quadrant’ very nearly makes it to double-figures - as their arpeggiated synths and some classic Detroit synth work allow the production to take flight. Space Dimension Controller is an obvious comparison. Frame Dragging is broken up by two more ponderous numbers, with ‘Gravity Well’ eschewing beats altogether and letting the listener luxuriate among some gorgeous ambient keyboard pads.
