James Clement aka ASC returns to his fledgling ‘Realm’ series with a considerably more downcast gaze than the one that lit up Realm of the Infinite. Realm of the Void is aptly absent of light, save for the crackling synapses that illuminate its passages — often only to obscure matters further. Indeed, you’re never quite sure what sounds might pop out of the electro-magnetic aether of industrial techno. Make no mistake though, Clement hasn’t overlooked the overall groove factor.
