After two decades of silence Thomas Peter Heckman recently re-booted his Electro Nation project with the Clone EP. Robot Story continues the Electro Nation renaissance by serving up four wedges of squelching machine funk. The record’s title-track fuses quirky robo-vocals with a nasty (in a good way) Drexciyan bass groove. Elsewhere on the record ‘Noise Nose’ is a busy and bustling cut that shows off a bit more of a Midwestern techno influence.
