Diego Herrera is up to his old tricks as Suzanne Kraft once more. On new EP Slam we find Herrera turning out a trio of peppy and idiosyncratic electro-techno hybrids. Both ‘More Desire’ and ‘Slam’ combine some whip-smart rhythm section programming with the sort of thick, evocative synth chords one tends to find in deep house tunes. Meanwhile ‘Group Time Hate That’ is all slamming toms and insistent bassline - Bogdan Dražić and Don’t DJ spring to mind.
