The celebrated DJ from Spandau, Berlin Fadi Mohem returns to Seilscheibenpfeiler with more twists on the hardened techno formula — all while pushing himself out of his own comfort zone. Notes of urgency were all over Reinforced, his last outing on the imprint, but ‘Perception’ and ‘Insight’ takes things to the next level with scurrying, back-stepping beats. Rave-ready sonics are all present and correct on ‘CX Sketch’ and ‘Rinse’, two numbers with a ghostly high end and some clanging percussion on the low.
