A fantastical exploration of the inner and outer world, New World Science’s Osmos (Movements) is a rare treat in ‘fourth world’ music: a meditative ambient album you can actually dance to, albeit very softly. Separated into four ‘movements’, the LP breathes an entire world of colour and texture with floaty synths, tip-tapping percussion and slithering saxophones. It’s edenic in tone, like a hidden world existing behind the eyelids and in the recesses of the mind.
