Facta and K-Lone’s Wisdom Teeth label has built a strong reputation for itself since its debut release back in 2014 on the back of drops from artists like LOFT and Wen. Their eighth record, featuring two tracks from Steevio ballasted by a remix by Batu, keeps up their good work. ‘Syzygy’ is a lovely bit of dubstep/techno crossover fare that balances a gently shuffling drum track reminiscent of Beneath and Ploy with burbling synthesisers. ‘Hiraeth’ repeats the trick while adding a little two-step flavour into the mix, while Batu’s re-rub of that cut is a nice wedge of loping 110-bpm soundsystem techno.
