Fresh from releasing his debut album Endless Path of Memory, sound artist and experimental musician Nexcyia sends a mix for Bleep that is equally mystical and varied. Spiralling piano keys flurry into rich, lush folk and classical arrangement, then the serenity breaks for whirring, portal jumping electronics. Shoegazing walls of strums, blurred vocals, and soft acoustic lullabies rub against abstract percussive clusters and eruptions of stream, with ethereal sonics bursting into murky club rhythms.
"I record this mix at home on ableton, it's the stuff I listen to on a daily basis. There are a lot of collaborations here that I admire. Some new music here by Kevin, a duo comprised of Ben Bondy and Mister Water Wet and unreleased music by NUG, a music project by Florian T M Zeisig and PVAS.
