Bleep

Lietava is a double LP of new works from deepest Lithuania, celebrating over fifteen of the countries forgotten folk instruments in an attempt to bring some of their traditional music back to life. The music is deep, brooding and minimalist tendencies pervade the whole album, managing to bring to mind the enchanting folklore of Zenklo Grupe or Antonio Zepeda. This one will appeal to any budding musicologists who want an insight into Lithuania’s past but have no idea where to begin looking.
