Though a little late for Halloween, this new pressing of a Carl Craig classic is a spooky Detroit delight. Originally issued in 2006, the track ghosts in on a nervy acid techno groove occasionally augmented by ghostly MIDI choirs ala Kraftwerk’s ‘Radio-Activity’. Around half-way in, a demented yelp of a vocal kicks the track into real action - from there on out, there’s no way to stop this bongo-techno roller from taking control of the room. This new pressing from Memento comes backed with a remix from label favourite Luciano, and this version sees the Cadenza Records boss lean hard on the effects bank to create a dizzying dub.
