Two track split 12” from London imprint Khemia, channelling the fiercest 80s industrial wave and dark 90s techno with an outlook that still sounds fresh. On the A side we have a new jam from Berlin modular outfit Blush Response that contains some razor sharp, clattering percussion and downright nasty synth abuse. ‘Confess’ on the B side lowers the tone just a little, with some vintage style monotone vocals pleading over the snares and noise riddled backdrop. Very sinister stuff here that brings to mind Shawn O’Sullivan’s Vapauteen work or In Aeternam Vale.
