As the label recount in their press release, very little is known about Swedish producer Irma Orm. Her music was drip-fed to Kranky via email over the course of two years with little explanation. A first listen of the album benefits from the mystery brought on by this lack of introduction. It is stunning. Imagine the melancholic euphoria of the Cocteau Twins combined with the haunting sounds of a mist-drenched Swedish forest and you won't go far wrong.
