Having released just two EPs in the lead up to their debut full length, Romans, a duo consisting of New Yorker, Gunnar Haslam and the Vienna-based Johannes Auvinen aka Tin Man, have already carved out their niche. One of eclectic 303-heavy techno seeking to conceptually examine ancient Roman civilisation through the murky lens of time, with each track title referring to a place within the greater Roman empire. It’s an acid-etched trip to the outer reaches of your mind, filled with nascent grooves you feel could go on and on.
