This veteran pairing finally get around to release their debut album with a tongue firmly in cheek title. Adolescent is far from an immature sound. Its ten tracks taking in dance music styles from right across the ages. Be it the boogie indebted ‘Wake People’, the tightly tweaked raving synths on ‘Nordo’ or the breakbeat techno of ‘Boilered’, it’s a release where strength lies in the diversity it houses. There are a number of vocal tracks on there too. ‘Tell Me’ featuring Joe Goddard is a swinging hip shaker with sensuality front and centre of its focus. The kids are growing up.
