Comprised of the production team of Running Back label boss Gerd Janson and fellow producer Phillip Lauer, the sound of Tuff City Kids is slick and competent. As a pair they make dance music that is familiar, but always with a twist. This latest release for Delsin is no exception: 'HFS' starts out as a softly rolling piece of cerebral house, before catching fire with rough, spindly bass and sweeping effects. 'Wendy (Girlfriend 43 Piano Mix)' is a romp of a track, a driving rhythm kept deftly in check, while 'Reeze' is a snapping, percussive work out.
