Liam Blackburn is a name that might not immediately resonate, but his work using the Akkord moniker (alongside Synkro) should ring a bell with anybody with even a slight interest in the UK produced dubstep/techno hybrid scene of the past few years. Adopting the guise of Ancestral Voices, he released the Night of Visions album last year through Samurai Horo – a fierce blend of experimental computer ambience and rigid, low-end heavy techno. For Remixed Part 2, both Samuel Kerridge and Pact Infernal craft their own take on two of the tracks from the lp. With support from Paula Temple, Eomac and DJ Pete.
