Released back in 2014, Miseri Lares serves as arguably one of the most interesting and exceptional records in the colourful history of Bill Kouligas’s PAN imprint. For Tricoli’s second solo LP on the label it’s a similar affair; utterly mental musique concrete style sonic abstraction. Unnerving yet at the same time calming, pastoral church bells mix with warped vocal samples and synth blips and drones that appear and disappear at the perfect moments. Clonic Earth is aural cinema at its finest, and makes for a special sort of listening experience - get the headphones on and the lights down low.
