Psychedelic electroacoustic LP from Lyon based duo Kaumwald, existing in a strange sphere that seems to take as much influence from early concrete pioneers and free jazz as it does Donato Dozzy. With track titles as equally ambiguous as the pair’s name, the whole thing manages to avoid any perceived atmosphere or conceptual identity and it’s all the better for it. Engaging and intriguing, this will appeal to almost anybody with open ears and a thirst for brain-melting sonic discovery.
