Nation Records associate James T. Cotton take a step away from the dance floor and acts under his own name Tadd Mullinix for an electro-acoustic session on the Skein EP on his own Bopside imprint. Arriving some 14 years since his last solo outing under his own name, each of the three extended cuts on the EP represent an abstracted and often unsettling excursion of fragmented and modular textures, often changing direction and blurring the boundaries between electronic and acoustic sound.
