Helm and Decimus unveil their debut collaborative LP for Opal Tapes. We Will Meet At Other Human Parties features two long-form tracks of claustrophobic, muddy noise trips and gutted from the waist up bloody techno. Echo's of Helm's recent opus Olympic Mess drip through with the second side sounding like its been scraped up from the bottom of a swamp, but the overall feeling for the LP is one of sleep deprived catharsis. This is noise to play loud and fall into like a vast wave, much like Puce Mary's recent Posh Isolation and Asher Levitas's digital psychedelia Lit Harness, Helm and Decimus are pushing the boundaries of what noise can be, an endless murky pool where anything can be dropped into focus and the outcome is truly striking.
