Willie Burns makes a welcome return to the Bleep.com multiverse with this Bang The Box (a label/club night launched by Matt Warren in 1987 and recently comp repped by Still Music and Jerome Derradji) tribute on the Ultimate Hits label. Four tracks of Roland heat, rhythm-box goodness, pressurised vocal loops, Dance Mania freakery (‘Checking Heart Rate’’s rhythm machine had this writer doing just that) and finally the New Order sampling (?) ambient soul of ‘Where Has The Love Gone’.
