Bold and frightening excursions from the fringeland of tape culture here on Discrepant. First split LP in a brand new series of collaborations, pairing artists working on the edge of it all. This first split pairs Brighton's Blood Stereo's tape gunk with Hair & Treasure's pastoral loopism on the flip. Blood Stereo are Dylan Nyoukis (Colour out Of Space) and Karen Constance, a British institution in music from out-there making primitively gorgeous field-noise electro-acoustic muck. Hair & Treasure, meanwhile are Alex Jones and Gonçalo F Cardoso, who dabble in loops and loops and loops of the weirdest s and wonderful sources you can imagine.
