Celebrating Kevin Saunderson’s KMS 25 years in the game KMS 2015 has seen previous vintage remixes from the likes of Carl Craig, Ron Trent and Chez Daimier this year in its first three volumes. This fourth issue sees Saunderson turn to another legend in the shape of Detroit innovator, Kenny Larkin (key work for Peacefrog, Planet E, Warp, R&S and many more). You may have heard a million versions of Inner City’s ‘Good Life’ but here Larkin twisted it into something alien and deeply prescient. His version of ‘Share My Life’ –despite being twenty years old- also sounds remarkably ahead of its time and could easily slip its way onto mainstream radio and the rave today.
