Bleep favourite Happa makes a much welcome return with PART 1, possibly his most crucial work yet. Three tracks designed to destroy dancefloors. Happa’s sound has spent a long time brewing (largely because he was getting played at clubs before he could legally enter them) but this effort for PT/5 showcases the sounds of a producer who has pinned down their own niche. From the skittering pandemonium of Ascension, to the pulsating oscillations of Crickets, Happa’s sound is now ready to accost listeners brutally and make a firm and lasting impact on the British electronic landscape.
