Berlin label Fachwerk mark eight years of releasing concentrated, stripped down techno with a split album between label heads Mike Dehnert, Roman Lindau, and Sascha Rydell. The trio have been the core driving force behind Fachwerk from the beginning: together, they’ve hosted frequent parties at Berghain, while all but a handful of the label’s 40-odd releases have come from these members. 8 Years Fachwerk features new music from the trio while also giving an insight into the day-to-day operations of the label, using storytelling devices on interludes like ‘Label Dinner’ and ‘Studio Chaos’.
